A spectacular sweet pepper for fresh-eating or (pan) frying (sauteeing), with some now ripening to shades of red! Certified by Slow Food USA as one of their "Ark of Taste" products, these heirloom peppers were originally introduced to various seed companies by Jimmy Nardello, whose mother brought the seeds to the United States when she emigrated with her husband, Guiseppe, from the Basilicata region of Italy in 1887.
